Brenda Newton grew up in Iowa and moved to Texas in 1981 after graduating from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Elementary Education.
Returning to the classroom has been a delight! Preschoolers have such curiosity, humor and wonder while discovering the world around them, and Brenda finds that excitement contagious. Every school day is full of laughter and fun and exploration, and she is happy to be a part of that.
Brenda lives in Keller with her husband Rick and their youngest daughter, a student at Central High School. Her son attends the University of North Texas in Denton and is studying for an engineering degree. Her two eldest daughters are grown; one lives in Fort Worth and the other in Kansas.
Brenda volunteers in children’s ministry in her church and in her free time enjoys travel, sewing, and making hand-stamped cards.
