Eva Lax joined St. Martin’s Episcopal School staff in Fall 2016, having just retired from 20 years of working as a registered nurse. She has a marketing degree in addition to her RN experience.
Originally from Sweden, she has lived in the United States for 30 years, and the last 21 years in Keller. She and her husband have raised 3 boys here; their youngest is still in college at Texas State University. Eva’s two oldest sons are both married and have kids of their own. Her middle son and his wife live in Keller, and she gets to spend time with them and her preschool-aged grandson.
Eva has volunteered in the children’s ministry at her church for many years, helping with Sunday school and teaching Vacation Bible School. She shares, “I love it when kids talk about God and Jesus in their own words, when you can see that they understand the true meaning of the Bible lesson. It’s great to get to know all the children at St. Martin’s and watch them grow and learn.”
